Scoring methodology

Every BitRank check starts from a base score of 50 and adjusts from there. You see each step, so the final number is never a mystery — and you can defend it.

| Age | Older addresses earn a confidence bonus — up to +7. |
| Transaction history | A longer on-chain track record adds confidence — up to +11. |
| Flags | Risk categories pull the score down. Only the single most severe flag in each category counts — so an address is never double-penalised for the same kind of risk. |
| Entity | The type of entity behind the address — exchange, mixer, gambling service, and so on — adjusts the score. |
Overrides: When a hard rule applies — a sanctioned address, a known exchange hot or cold wallet, or a score inherited from a riskier cluster — BitRank shows you exactly which rule set the final number, and why.
